I was intrigued and impressed with Rob Benwell's new e-book Blogging to the Bank 2.0. Rob earns up to $3000 per month from his smaller blogs.
Quick review:
● Beginner bloggers will cut a huge chunk from the blogging learning curve reading and implementing this e-book
● Follow the principle in the book to create or buy fresh value-adding content and you WILL earn money from your blogs
● The step-by-step instructions make it very easy to get going with your own blogging empire
● I would like to have seen some more search engine optimization techniques
● Advanced bloggers might not find Blogging to the Bank 2.0 as insightful, but you will still learn some new tricks
● Beginner bloggers might consider joining a more resource rich host, different from the one recommended in the e-book, for example ThirdSphere which we use.
● Rob shows you exactly which blogging platform to use and how, I use the same platform, no surprise there
I am a bit of a perfectionist, so if you ignore the grammar and spelling issues here and there, Blogging to the Bank 2.0 will get you going in the blogosphere quickly!
The whole process Rob Benwell developed seems too darn simple - but it WORKS. He shows you the results to prove it.
I am very cautious when it comes to new products on building a web business. But Rob claims to earn thousands every month from his blogging empire and that intrigued me, the $47 price tag was low enough for my intrigue to win the battle.
Blogging to the Bank 2.0 was a pleasant surprise. Rob Benwell uses simple language to explain in a step-by-step way how to start earning money from different blogs.
If you are an aspiring information entrepreneur then his simple language is a great lesson. You do not have to be a pro-writer to create an info product. Just write naturally and keep it simple.
Use Web 2.0 tools and tactics
The most interesting and useful section of Blogging to the Bank was the part on Web 2.0 tools like DIGG and Squidoo. Specifically the section on Squidoo was very useful and very step-by-step. Read moreon the Web 2.0 tools in Blogging to the Bank in the review on my website...
The most interesting and useful section of Blogging to the Bank was the part on Web 2.0 tools like DIGG and Squidoo. Specifically the section on Squidoo was very useful and very step-by-step.
Blogging to the Bank 2.0 advocates using MSN and Yahoo to build your traffic, this is a much faster way to get the traffic flowing. We all know it is neigh impossible to please the Googlemeister. If you post good quality content on your blogs continuously, you will get into the Google engine, eventually.
As far as Rob is concerned, his time is much better spent creating new blogs which get found in MSN and Yahoo. If the blogs eventually get into Google, he regards that as a bonus.
He also uses and recommends a no-cost keyword research tool in the e-book.
Blogging to the Bank delivers on its promises, although I would have liked to see a bit more search engine optimization tips and techniques. Different from the Black Hat techniques in Blogging to the Bank version 1.0, version 2.0 advocates only White Hat search engine optimization techniques, which I heartily commend! To be sustainable in the blogosphere, you need solid, value adding content and links.
In Blogging to the Bank 2.0, he describes a few ethical ways to get hundreds or perhaps thousands of one-way links to your site.
This is all good, solid stuff...

Drive Traffic to Your Blog by Araceli Molina
There are many factors that make blogs much better than normal WebPages including the speed at which blogs are indexed, ability to submit to blog directories & normal directories, pings and track backs. All these little things can help drive more traffic to blogs. Here are 15 popular techniques you can use:
1.) Create at least four keyword posts per day. Most of the top blogs such as Boing Boing, Daily Kos, and Instapundit (with literally tens of thousands of visitors per day) publish an average of 30 small 100-150 word posts per day according to "Secrets of the A-list Bloggers: Lots of Short Posts" by TNL.net
2.) Submit to My Yahoo! When you submit your own RSS to My Yahoo it is indexed by Yahoo.
3.) Submit to Google's Reader. When you submit your own blog RSS to Google's Reader the Google Blog Search will index your site.
4.) Add a relevant link directory to your blog and trade links like a demon possessed! Although it may take more time than simply submitting to a search engine one time, this method is perhaps the best way to drive traffic to your site. Use software such as Zeus to speed up the link trading process.
5.) Use ping sites like ping-o-matic. Ping your site every time you add a new post.
6.) Submit your blog to traditional search engines such as AltaVista, and MSN.
7.) Submit your blog to traditional directories such as DMOZ. Directories (particularly DMOZ) increase relevance with Google. DMOZ is very picky, but what do you have to lose by trying?
8.) Submit to as many RSS Directories and Search Engines as possible. This is a simple but repetitive process that can be done with software such as RSS SUBMIT.
9.) Comment on other blogs. Do not just leave short, lazy comments like "I agree." Leave well thought out replies that will force readers to wonder "who wrote this?"
10.) Use track backs. If there is a blog that you refer to or quote and it is highly relevant to your subject, leave a track back. It increases your link popularity and may even score a few interested readers from the linked site.
11.) Go offline. Use newspaper ads, public bulletin boards, business cards, even stickers to let as many people as possible know your blog exists.
12.) Ad a link to your blog in your e-mail signature block.
13.) Use Groups (Usenet). Find a relevant group on Google groups, Yahoo groups, MSN groups or any of the thousands of other FREE group services and find like minded people and talk with them. Make sure your use your blog URL like it is your name.
14.) Use Forums. Forums are one of the best places to go for advice. Go to forums and find problems to solve. Make sure you leave your blog name, but be tactful about it; some forums get annoyed with those who selfishly drop a few links to their own site and leave.
15.) Tag your website. Tagging is a new idea that has erupted across the web. Sites like Del.icio.us, Technorati and many others have a social feature that allows you to place your article under keywords or "tags" that everyone interested in that tag can see.
Although these are some of the most popular ways to drive traffic to your blog, do not limit your self to tips and lists. Use your imagination and you will come up with thousands of ways to drive traffic to your blog!

How To Increase The Stickiness Of Your Websites Or Blog by Shawn Lim
Basically, it will be the dream of every webmaster or bloggers out there to have tons of traffic eveveryday. Getting traffic is important for webmaster or blogger, but to increase the stickiness of your website or blog also plays an important role. So what exactly is this stickiness? Put it simple, stickiness is the visit length of your visitors in your website or blog, the higher your site's stickiness, means the longer visitors will stay in your site. If you want to make money with your website or blog, then the stickiness of your website will be even more crucial. This is because it will determine the sales conversion rate for you. Or if you have Pay-Per-Click ads in your site, then stickiness will also help increase the click through rate.
There are a few ways you can increase the stickiness or your websites or blogs. These include :
Webpage or Blog Design You must clear with one thing, a good design of a webpage or blog won't bring you any traffic, however, it will help you increase your site's stickiness. Imagine that you have a poor site navigation, and your site looks very confusing, and the result? The first thing visitors go into your site, they will leave, fast. The main reason people visits your site is to get the information they are looking for, so if you have poor navigation that can't lead them to your content, you will lost a lot of visitors. If you are a blogger, you may consider putting an 'about' section into your blog, this will also help increase the trust between you and your readers. Readers will be more friendly with you if they can understand you better. In addition, you can also consider including your photo into it, which will help you raise your blog's credibility. And faces work better than words if you have a lot of readers and subscribers. Of course, if your site is a website and not a blog, then the story will be slightly different.
Quality Content Always remember this, your site is going to be visited by humans, not computer. Therefore, always write some informational and quality content for your site. Like I said before, visitors go to your site to look for the information they want, and if they can't find any useful information in your site, then they will definitely leave immediately. Besides that, if your content is of good quality, not only that you can attract many other visitors, you can also have returning visitors. So you can see now, if your content is great, visitors will always come back for more, make sense right? Absolutely. One more thing is that the title in your site. If your site is full of words, then be sure that your title will attract visitors to read them. The first thing that every visitor will do is to read through your title, then only goes into your content. Which means that if your title is not decriptive and sounds boring, then your visitors won't read them. This is especially true if you're a blogger, visitors won't read your posts if they don't understand your title, or the title makes them confuse.
So basically these are the few points that you should always keep in mind in order to increase your site's stickiness. Be it website or blog, there are still plenty of guides and tips that you can always follow to attract more visitors and make them stay longer in your site. The guides here I'm telling you are just simple basics, you can always find more in : http://www.themillionairesecrets.blogspot.com/

How I increase my Internet Network Marketing Blog Page Rank with Free Back links ? by David Gwee
I recently just pick up a neat trick on how to increase my blog page rank through backlinks with anchor text from high page rank sites for free. How do I do it and why high page rank sites allow this ?
Although I am a newbie blogger but I would like to try this out on my "Internet Network Marketing Blog"(http://www.mlmJedi.com) as anchor text and sees if it works because presently my Internet Network Marketing Page Rank is "0" !
Its pretty easy and simple. First research for blogs of your Niche or Industry. For me will be the Internet Network Marketing MLM niche.Look for those with Page rank 3 and above.Just Leave a comment, not just those spammy short comments like: Good work or well done.
Contribute and write something worthy of passing their comment moderation. The better or longer you write the higher chances of your comment being approved and thus attract their readers attention to your Blog.
Now come the most important part, you need to fill in your name, email, website URL .We all know that our blog URL will Leave a backlink but if I fill up my name as :"Internet Network Marketing Blog" and yes that is my anchor text and Google will know that "Internet Network Marketing Blog" is my anchor text and its important to my Blog URL .Check out Youtube Video in my blogpost where I test this in http://www.JohnChow.com 's blogpost title:"The John Chow Effect"'s comment.
Is this tactic workable ? Come watch Youtube video and comment in my blogpost http://www.mlmjedi.com/seo-blogging/how-to-increase-my-internet-network-marketing-blog-page-rank-with-free-backlinks
